Professional Certification
FAA Part 107:
Fly & Get Paid

Without Part 107 you cannot charge for flying. This module prepares you for the exam and gives you the legal, operational and business context to operate commercially in the Bay Area airspace. — one of the most complex in the country due to the proximity of SFO, OAK and SJC.

Airspace Charts
Read sectional charts, identify airspace classes, altitudes and special restrictions (TFRs, NOTAMs).
Meteorology
Read METARs and TAFs, understand ceiling, visibility, and wind effects on drone flight.
FAA Regulations
14 CFR Part 107: what you can and cannot do, waivers, night operations, over people.
Operational Safety
Crew Resource Management, pre-flight checklists, risk management, ATC communications.
UAS Performance
How temperature, altitude and humidity affect performance. System limitations.
